A Brief History

The foundation for Game Clothing began in 1993 as Cuesport underneath a house in Bald Hills, Brisbane. The driving force behind this was Gayle Rodney's frustration with the lack of range and quality in Netball Clothing.

It was her commitment to finding a solution that produced the first Netball Uniforms for her two daughters. It was the Uniforms' design, quality and fit that impressed other Netballers and their parents, so much so that orders have been rolling in ever since.

With the rapid expansion of Game Clothing, our expertise has extended to other sports such as all codes of Football, Cricket, Hockey and Athletics to name a few. We also offer teamwear, training and recovery gear (including Compression garments).

While we have grown. we have never and will never lose sight of the importance of providing high quality and customised clothing to sporting people and teams.

In 2005, Cuesport had a name change to Game Sportswear and was manufacturing Uniforms for all sports. Then in 2006 Game Sportswear was incorporated under the name Game Clothing Company.

Since this time, Game Clothing has moved from strength to strength and now operates out of Commercial Premises in Brendale, Brisbane, which includes 2 commercial Embroidery machines and Sublimation Machines, allowing them to further improve their quality and turn around time. At every step of the way Game Clothing has ensured that every new piece of equipment or new design will mean an increased ability to providing customised clothing to you and your team.

As for Gayle's 2 daughters, Mellissa bought into the Business in 2005 and Katrina joined as an employee in 2006. So it is now, more than ever, a Family Business dedicated to quality and customer satisfaction.

While some of our competitors have chosen to source their uniforms from overseas, at Game Clothing we will always continue to be proudly family owned and Australian made.
